5:11 p.m. Bateman has been a giant killer today, knocking off 2006 Division 7 champion Chris Demke in the first round and Duane Shields in the semifinals. However, Finke has been on a hot streak lately.

The giant killer gets the win, Finke's car losing fire at half track after leading to that point. It wasn't pretty and Bateman's only strong run was during qualifying, but he will be the one having his picture taken in the winner's circle tonight.
