1:38 p.m. - Gallant had a bye and took it right down the groove to secure his spot in the final round of eliminations.

Finke had a 5.202-second ET last time out. This time, Finke went down the groove but appeared to lose some cylinders, so he was not as quick as he was in the first round. Mercier lost a cylinder as soon as he launched and lost more as he made his way down the quarter mile. The final round of eliminations will be Gallant against Finke, with Gallant having lane choice.
