ATCO, N.J. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Top Alcohol Funny Car at the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, Northeast Division, LODRS 1-6 event at Atco Raceway listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Left Lane: Dan Pomponio Runs 7.525/138.71, Now #1
Right Lane: Rob Atchison Runs 13.050/60.57, Now #2

Both drivers shook the rear tires and shut down early.

Left Lane: Bruce Peterson Runs 6.178/237.30, Now #1
Right Lane: Fred Tigges Runs 7.149/142.09, Now #2

More tire shake.

Left Lane: Frank Schuster Runs 6.497/223.69, Now #3
Right Lane: Bob Tasca III Runs 5.645/255.87, Now #1

Tasca drove through some early tire shake to move to the top of the order for now. Schuster shook the tires and got loose.

Left Lane: Bobby Martin Runs 6.239/232.95, Now #3
Right Lane: John Headley Runs 10.016/83.52, Now #7

Headley shook the tires hard and got off the throttle. Martin shook too but not as badly.

Right Lane: DJ Cox Jr. Runs 34.327/0.00, Now #10

Both drivers shook the tires, both shut down and both cruised down the track.

Both drivers had a bit of shake but both drove through it.
