MOHNTON, Pa. - Racing is over for the weekend in the Pennsylvania Dutch Classic at Maple Grove Raceway. The temperature is around 52 degrees F and after Mike Smith's car left oil on the track during round four of Competition Eliminator, race officials decided to pull the plug. It would take at least 45 minutes to clean the track and temperatures would be too low to race after that.
Eliminations for the Dutch Classic will be completed on Friday at Atco Dragway during the Lucas
Oil Drag Racing Series weekend there. Check with Drag Race Central later in the week for a
complete schedule for the Dutch Classic and LODRS series races.
