MOHNTON, Pa. - Results of final, round 4 eliminations in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 22nd annual Toyo Tires NHRA Nationals:

Mercier has his work cut out for him, even though he comes here with a string of 12 consecutive winning rounds.

Gallant goes in deep and turns off the top bulb, choosing to shorten the race track by that small amount. I think he's taking Mercier pretty darn seriously.

Mercier leaves just slightly after Gallant but immediately made up the difference and lead the entire length of the track. He was ahead by 60 foot and ahead at the finish.

It's a big win for Mercier, his first National Event win.
