Pretty even start but Shields never trailed. Duane Shields' MOV: 0.0416 seconds (approximately 16 feet).

Niver was late and against Lucas that was something you can't afford. Two nice runs but it's Lucas that takes a huge win for he and the team.

A match between Ahten in the nitro car and O'Bannon in the blown car. Ahten strikes the tires right at the hit and when it recovered there were at least three holes out. O'Bannon gets the win but Lucas has lane choice in the semi.

Federlin is out on Bateman but can't hold off the nitro powered racer. Shields will have choice over Bateman in the other semi.
