KENT, Wash. - Notes from final, round 4 qualifying in Top Fuel at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 19th annual Schuck's Auto Supply NHRA Nationals presented by Lucas Oil listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Alan Bradshaw Runs 11.199/83.33, Now #16; Best prior run: 4.827/311.49, Was #16

Weather conditions: air temperature 89 degrees, relative humidity 50 percent, barometer 29.82 inches,adjusted altitude 2,417 feet, track temperature 125 degrees.

Bradshaw is up in smoke as soon as he hit the throttle.

Left Lane: Cory McClenathan Runs 4.725/314.75, Now #12; Best prior run: 4.714/310.63, Was #12
Right Lane: Morgan Lucas Runs 4.981/232.47, Now #14; Best prior run: 4.738/310.13, Was #14

Lucas was mixing up cylinders all the way down the track. Cory Mac with a nice clean pass, but will stay in the number 12 spot.

Left Lane: Larry Dixon Runs 4.663/321.04, Now #10; Best prior run: 4.677/320.13, Was #10
Right Lane: J.R. Todd Runs 5.317/190.00, Now #13; Best prior run: 4.733/302.69, Was #13

Dixon with his best pass of the weekend, but he will stay in the number 10 spot. Todd with problems right off the starting line and then clicked it off around half track.

Left Lane: Bob Vandergriff Runs 7.591/99.71, Now #8; Best prior run: 4.660/316.38, Was #8
Right Lane: Doug Herbert Runs 4.858/286.25, Now #11; Best prior run: 4.703/308.64, Was #11

Vandergriff is up in smoke right off the starting line and he tried to drive through it. Herbert was mixing up some cylinders all the way down the 1320.

Left Lane: Doug Kalitta Runs 5.646/169.74, Now #7; Best prior run: 4.656/324.20, Was #7
Right Lane: Tony Schumacher Runs 4.684/321.73, Now #9; Best prior run: 4.662/305.84, Was #9

Kalitta started to lose traction and the dropped cylinders before he clicked it off. Schumacher dropped a cylinder around half track, but stayed with it for the quickest pass of the session.

Right Lane: Hillary Will Runs 5.900/150.50, Now #6; Best prior run: 4.642/314.83, Was #6

Baca decided not to make a pass this session. Will makes it to about half track before she smoked the tires.

Left Lane: Rod Fuller Runs 4.609/324.28, Now #2; Best prior run: 4.578/322.19, Was #2
Right Lane: Melanie Troxel Runs 8.965/88.39, Now #4; Best prior run: 4.610/322.50, Was #4

Troxel is up in smoke by 250 feet and clicked it off. Fuller with another consistent pass.

Right Lane: David Grubnic Runs 4.682/317.72, Now #3; Best prior run: 4.595/323.89, Was #3

Bernstein with another good clean pass. He will hold on to the number one spot. Grubnic with a nice pass and he will stay in the number three spot.
