GRANDVIEW, Mo. -- Legendary NHRA drag racer and team owner Don Schumacher is giving racing fans and collectors a unique opportunity to get their hands on items straight from the race shop which have never before released to the public. Schumacher has teamed with the online collectibles auction website GoMotorBids.com to auction off authentic race-used items and rare collectibles that the team has been amassing over the years.

Racing enthusiasts and collectors will be able to bid on such items as race-used driver and crew uniforms, race-car body panels, used engine components, plus one-off prototype versions of various collectibles that have been produced for the multitude of race cars and motorcycles that the team has campaigned.

"Everyone here at GoMotorBids.com is really excited about partnering with Don Schumacher Racing," said Russ Dickey, marketing director. "All of the drivers DSR fields are championship caliber, and each has a huge fan base that will be thrilled with this new auction. It gives the fans a shot at adding one-of-a-kind pieces to their collections."

Once a drag racer himself, Don Schumacher now fields a total of twelve different drivers in four different NHRA divisions. "Our partnership with GoMotorbids.com allows our fans the opportunity to collect unique racing memorabilia and race -used parts that wouldn't normally be available at a hobby shop or at the race track. This exciting platform is great for fans who don't always have the chance to get out to the races during the NHRA season", adds Don Schumacher.

As with every auction on GoMotorBids.com, the Don Schumacher Racing items will start with a bid of $1.00 and have no reserve prices, assuring that the highest bidder wins. This "no reserve policy" is quite contrary to industry standards, where many online sellers try and protect high-profile items with reserve prices or high starting bids.
