1:07 p.m. Auxier's car got out of the groove and very close to the wall, forcing him to lift. Jenkins made a nice pass in the heat of the afternoon.

Lang had a good reaction time, Rowe was very late - but it still looked like Rowe was going to get away with it when there was a puff of smoke from Lang's headers on the top end, but he was close enough to the finish line to still get the win. Kenny Lang's incremental margins: 60ft(0.138), 330 ft(0.117), 660ft(0.084), 1,000ft(0.053). MOV: 0.0236 seconds (approximately 8 feet).

Stott chased Castellana to half track, then went by for the win. Quain Stott's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.009), 330 ft(-0.002), 660ft(0.013), 1,000ft(0.022). MOV: 0.0299 seconds (approximately 10 feet). Stott will have lane choice against Jenkins in the semifinals.

Two good lights in this pair and Bareman pulled ahead early, but his car slowed and Cannon won "unmolested." He will have lane choice against Lang in the semifinals.
