O'Brien almost pulled off the holeshot upset again, but Berner managed to nip him on the top end for the win. Pete Berner's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.049), 330 ft(-0.036), 660ft(-0.018), 1,000ft(0.000). MOV: 0.0136 seconds (approximately 4 feet).

This was close, but Gugliotta led all the way and slowly edged ahead. Frank Gugliotta's margins: 60ft(0.003), 330 ft(0.002), 660ft(0.007), 1,000ft(0.014). MOV: 0.0201 seconds (approximately 6 feet). He also gets lane choice against Berne, by 0.001 seconds.

Gillig's car did a bit of a dance about 100 feet out, but he managed to keep his early lead and hold it for the win. Tony Gillig's incremental margins: 60ft(0.036), 330 ft(0.040), 660ft(0.043), 1,000ft(0.043). MOV: 0.0418 seconds (approximately 13 feet).

Dobbins had a huge head start and pulled away for a surprisingly easy win. He also got lane choice against Gillig, by .004 seconds.
