2:42 p.m. Tigges string of runner-up finishes came to an end when his car got out of shape and headed for the wall, forcing him to lift. Munroe is enroute to his first final round of the year.

Dobbs was looking for his first final round this year, but Thomas had enough to take the lead by 330 feet, then pull away and earn lane choice against Munroe in the final round.
