GRAND BEND, Ont. - Results of round 3 eliminations in Jeg's Top Stock at the 2006 eMax Drag Racing Series, Mopar Canadian Nationals presented by Castrol:

Both Byrd and Cambria got to the semifinals with "lucky dog" quick loser "buybacks." Both acquitted themselves well, but neither will be in the final, Aluise running low ET of the round for the win and lane choice against Mercure in the final round, the 2004 champ meeting the 2005 champ for the money. Joseph Aluise Jr's incremental margins: 60ft(0.007), 330 ft(0.037), 660ft(0.031), 1,000ft(0.034). MOV: 0.0364 seconds (approximately 7 feet).
