MOHNTON, Pa. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Competition Eliminator at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 21st annual Toyo Tires NHRA Nationals:

These two got off the line with almost the same reaction times. They stayed close but Barone steadily pulled ahead to take the win.
