CLERMONT, Ind. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Pro Stock at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 51st annual Mac Tools U.S. Nationals:

These two have faced off just once before in Howard's brief career and Howard got the win light in that one, one of his four round wins to date. Howard cut it too close and Johnson is headed for the semifinals.

These two have raced each other 14 times before today, Johnson holding an 11-3 edge, but Stevens had lane choice. Johnson's car made a huge move toward the centerline on the launch and he had to lift, sending Stevens to the semifinals.

Connolly took a small edge on the tree, but Anderson led from 330 feet on and ran low ET of the round to earn lane choice against Allen Johnson in the semifinals.
