MADISON, Ill. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, 15th annual NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals:

This is the rerun from earlier when the tree malfunctioned.
That was the 24th holeshot win for Justin Ashley This is the 2nd consecutive year that the #12, 13 & 14 TF qualifiers all advanced to Rd. 2 at this event.
This is the first time Ashley and Salinas have faced each other in eliminations.
Ashley with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. He will give up lane choice to Langdon in the semifinal.

Salinas is up in smoke right at the hit and clicks it off.
