Bond and Gray have each won 4 times against the other in prior events and Bond is 1 - 0 against Gray in prior final rounds.

Bond with the starting line advantage and started drifting out of the groove over by the centerline. Gray had the lead by 150 feet and never trailed from there on for the win. He wins his first Wally this season and sixth of his career.
