GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Results of round 3 eliminations in Funny Car at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, 55th annual NHRA Gatornationals:

Todd is 10 - 6 against Tasca III in prior events.
Tasca leaves the line, gets about 100 feet out and loses traction. He pedals, can't get the slicks to bite, then pedals again. Todd gets about 300 feet out and strikes the tires. He pedals a couple of times but never really recovers. Tasca continues to pedal, the car moves around to the right, then left, then back to the right but he can't real in Todd.

Todd takes the win and moves on to his 46th career final round.

A coin flip off of the line, Prock gets out in front early. Prock goes down the groove with his quickest pass in eliminations and takes the stripe for the win. Green makes a decent pass but was falling behind all the way through the run.
Prock is going to his ninth final round, the first eight were in Top Fuel.

Prock will have lane choice over Todd in the final round.
