POMONA, Calif. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 56th annual Auto Club NHRA Finals:

Weather conditions: air temperature 79 degrees, relative humidity 21 percent, barometer 30.10 inches, adjusted altitude 2,531 feet, track temperature 93 degrees.

Josh Hart is the 107th driver to face Doug Kalitta in eliminations.

Doug Kalitta has lost 11 times in round 1 this year and that's the most for him in any year since 2009.

Hart with the starting line advantage and the lead until just past the 330-foot mark. Hart started to mix up cylinders and haze the tires before clicking it off.

Kalitta with his quickest and fastest pass of the season for the win.

Pruett starts chew up the blower belt and she can't chase him down.

Torrence with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. Torrence wins his fourth consecutive Top Fuel Championship with the round win. Torrence with a good clean pass for the win, but will give up lane choice to Kalitta in the next round.

Langdon with the starting line advantage and then starts to haze the tires and the engine goes away just before the 1/8 mile mark with a quick flash of flames.

Tatum launched hard and had the lead by 330 feet and he makes his career quickest pass for the win. He will have lane choice over Salinas in the next round.
