CHANDLER, Ariz. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 36th annual NHRA Arizona Nationals:

This is the first time Brown and Ashley have faced each other in eliminations.

Ashley with the starting line advantage, but is up in smoke right at the hit. He clicks it off.

Brown is straight down the groove for the win, he runs quicker than his first round win.

Langdon is 13 - 12 against Torrence in prior events.

They make a lane swap as they pull in to stage.

Langdon with the starting line advantage, but is up in smoke right at the hit and was off the throttle. Torrence starts to haze the tires, so Langdon gets back on throttle. Torrence pedals it a couple times and gets it to hook up just enough to take the win.
