Matusek with a tick advantage on the tree, but made a move toward the centerline. Latino had the lead as they went by the Christmas tree, Matusek reeled it in and chased Latino down around 800 feet and took the win. Steve Matusek's MOV: 0.0342 seconds (approximately 12 feet).

Matusek will have lane choice over Tutterow in the semifinal by 0.003 seconds.
