MOHNTON, Pa. - Results of final, round 4 eliminations in Funny Car at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 35th annual Mopar Express Lane NHRA Nationals presented by Pennzoil:

Beckman is 32 - 19 against Force in prior events, and Beckman is 4 - 3 against Force in prior final rounds.

Beckman was quicker off the starting line to take the early lead. Force started to close the gap and picked up more than a tenth of a second, but then ran out of track with Beckman still out in front. This is Beckman's first win of the season and his third here at Maple Grove.

This win gives Beckman the Funny Car points lead.
