MOHNTON, Pa. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 35th annual Mopar Express Lane NHRA Nationals presented by Pennzoil:

Weather conditions: air temperature 81 degrees, relative humidity 48 percent, barometer 29.57 inches, adjusted altitude 2,551 feet, track temperature 109 degrees.

This is the first time Delco and Cuadra have faced each other in eliminations.

Delco is just a few ticks too quick and turns on the red light to give Cuadra the win.

Jeg Coughlin has four wins at Maple Grove and that equals the most for him at any track on the tour.

This is the first time Coughlin and Benza have faced each other in eliminations.

They leave at the exactly same time, but it was all Coughlin from there on for the win.

McGaha with the starting line advantage, but Kramer had the difference made up by the time they go by the Christmas tree and never trailed from there on for the win. Deric Kramer's MOV: 0.0143 seconds (approximately 4 feet). He will give up lane choice to Coughlin in the next round.

McGaha with his quickest pass of the weekend in the losing effort.

Stroupe with the starting line advantage and launched with the front end in the air and the car made a quick move toward the center line before he clicked it off.

Line is straight down the groove for the win. He runs low E.T. of the race day and will have lane choice over Butner by 0.009 seconds.
