TOPEKA, Kan. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 28th annual NHRA Kansas Nationals:

Langdon is 11 - 7 against Torrence in prior events. Langdon with the starting line advantage, but Torrence had the difference made up by the time they went by the Christmas tree and took the win. Langdon dropped a cylinder or two right at the hit and then had the engine go away around half track with a big cloud of smoke.

Kalitta is 18 - 10 against Millican in prior events. they leave together with Kalitta getting a tick advantage and never trailed from there on for the win. Millican is up in smoke around 200 feet and clicks it off. Kalitta with a real nice pass, straight down the groove for the win. He will give up lane choice to Torrence in the semifinal.

Schumacher is 2 - 1 against Crampton in prior events. This was a great drag race with Crampton getting a few ticks advantage, but Schumacher had the lead at 100 feet. Crampton grabs the lead 330 feet and never trails from there on for the win. Richie Crampton's MOV: 0.0103 seconds (approximately 5 feet).

Brown is 5 - 1 against Force in prior events. force is a tick too quick on the tree and turns on the red light and Brown gets the easy win. She then goes up in smoke and clicks it off. Brown launched hard and keep it hooked up with the quickest pass of the round for the win. He will have lane choice over Crampton in the semifinal.
