Force and Kalitta have each won 6 times against the other in prior events. Kalitta with the starting line advantage, but Force chase him down by 600 feet and blast on down for the win. This was a great drag race...Brittany Force's MOV: 0.0036 seconds (approximately 20 inches). This will be the second time for an all female Top Fuel final, the other was Shirley Muldowney and Lucille Lee in 1982. There will also be a first time winner here. The word from the top end is there is oil in Kalitta's lane. Doug Kalitta was charged with an oildown, #2 for the season. That will cost 10 points and $2K.
