MADISON, Ill. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Funny Car at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, Fourth annual AAA Insurance NHRA Midwest Nationals:

Pedregon is 15 - 13 against Beckman in prior events.

Beckman hits the throttle, goes up in smoke and is off the throttle quickly. Pedregon goes right down the groove and moves on to the next round.

Force is 15 - 13 against Hagan in prior events.

Force gets out of the gate first but Hagan reels him in quickly and goes around him by the time they reach the sixty foot mark. He extends his lead, Force makes up a little ground at the 660 foot mark, then Hagan hangs on and takes the win.

Matt Hagan's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(0.006), 330 ft(0.015), 660ft(0.009). MOV: 0.0101 seconds (approximately 5 feet).

Worsham is 23 - 20 against Wilkerson in prior events.

Worsham is leading the points right now and the number two and three are out of the race.

Worsham gets out of the gate first and starts to pull away. Wilkerson is able to make up a little ground at the 660 foot mark, runs the second quickest pass of the round, but Worsham hangs on and takes the win.

Worsham will have lane choice over Pedregon in the next round.

DeJoria leaves the line, gets about 100 feet out and strikes the tires ending her day. Capps goes right down the groove with the quickest pass of the round and takes the win.

Capps will have lane choice over Hagan in the next round.
