Brown is 14 - 0 against Torrence in prior events. Brown with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. Brown wiht his quickest pass of the weekend for the win. Torrence is up in smoke as soon as he hit the throttle and has a big bang.

Schumacher is 44 - 31 against Kalitta in prior events. Schumacher with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. Schumacher will give up lane choice to Brown in the semifinal. Kalitta started to haze the tires right at the hit and pedaled it, but couldn't chase Schumcher down.

Dixon is 2 - 1 against Pritchett in prior events. Pritchett with a slight starting line advantage and Dixon grabs the lead at 330 feet and then it pitcxhes the blower belt around half track. Pritchett started to haze the tires, but keep it hooked up to take the win.

Todd dropped a cylinder around halfd track, but still got the win, He will have lane choice over Pritchett in the semifinal. Millican dropped a cylider around half track.
