POMONA, Calif. - Results of final, round 4 eliminations in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 50th annual Auto Club NHRA Finals:

Shields has nineteen wins already. Ferre has one National Event win here in Super Comp in 2012. This is the first time Ferre and Shields have faced each other in eliminations.

Shields gets the starting line advantage and Ferre was starting to move up. Ferre had to pedal before the 330 lights and then started to drop cylinders.

Shield was pulling steadily ahead until after half track, where his engine started to drop cylinders too. No worries though, as he was way ahead for the easy win.
