Two of the really talented young drivers in the class meet when Rickie Jones and Buddy Perkinson
square off. This is just Buddy's third race of the year and first outside of North Carolina. It is
Rickie's fourteenth race of the year and he is 9-4 in his opening round matches. Jones is out of
the gate first and never trailed for the win. Rickie Jones' MOV: 0.0461 seconds (approximately 14

The loser of the Greg Anderson - Vincent Nobile race is virtually out of the championship
running. Vincent is in 8th place and Greg is in 9th.
Nobile is 6 - 4 against Anderson in prior events. Anderson is out of the gate first and never
trailed as Nobile started to have problems and pushed in the clutch. Anderson got out of the
groove and close to the centerline, but was able to hold on for the win. Anderson with his
quickest pass of the weekend for the win.

Gray is 2 - 0 against Kent in prior events. It appears that Kent had problems because when he
started to bring the rpm's up it appeared to leave turning on the red light. Gray was straight
down the groove for the win.

4 Erica Enders-Stevens 52 Deric Kramer

This is the first time Enders-Stevens and Kramer have faced each other in eliminations. Kramer
is too quick on the tree and turns on the red light. He ran his quickest pass in the losing
effort. Enders-Stevens with a real nice pass for the easy win. She will have lane choice over
Gray in the next round.

This is the first time Gaines and Hartford have faced each other in eliminations. Hartford with

round.

Allen Johnson qualified #1 ten times last year and this is just his 3rd of 2013..Allen has 22
wins against Larry Morgan and that's the most for him against and opponent. Nineteen of those wins
have come in round one and two of them have been this year. Morgan is out of the gate first and
the lead until just before half track when Johnson chased him down. Allen Johnson's MOV: 0.0313
seconds (approximately 10 feet). Morgan with his quickest pass of the weekend in the losing effort.
Johnson will have lane choice over Jones in the next round.

Jeg Coughlin vs. Greg Stanfield features two of the best drivers in the class. For his career
Jeg "leaves first" 64% of the time but Greg is even better at 67%. And in their head-to-head races
Greg has left first 59% of the time. Stanfield is too quick on the tree and turns on the red
light. Coughlin will give up lane choice to Anderson in the next round.
