9:15 a.m. The rains came last night just as Pro X-Treme was getting ready to pull out of the lanes.

Stott led early, but Martin ran him down and held on for the narrow win.

Todd Martin's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.016), 330 ft(0.010). MOV: 0.0051 seconds (approximately 18 inches).

Tutterow had a huge holeshot advantage and held that advantage past the 330-foot marker, but there was a spray of raw fuel from his car as he neared the lights and Leggett slipped by for the win.

Terry Leggett's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.114), 330 ft(-0.103). MOV: 0.0667 seconds (approximately 16 feet).

This is a replay of the St. Louis final round, which Pesz won by a couple car lengths, same lanes.

Pesz brought the RPMs up and just plain left early. That brings the points race between these two back to just 11 points difference and it is now likely that Pesz won't be the points-leader after this race.

Tindle won't have lane choice when he faces Leggett in the semifinals.

Both drivers shook, but Lowry was not able to capitalize on his holeshot because his car slow-rolled while Taylor was able to backpedal and continue. However, the off-pace lap cost him lane choice against Martin in the semifinals.
