Taylor was the number one qualifier and will get the bye run to round two. He makes a full pass and runs better than he qualified, after a strong 0.925 sixty foot time.

Reid gets a small lead at the green and holds Terry Leggett off until right after sixty feet, but can't match the pace. MOV: 0.0748 seconds (approximately 22 feet).

Leggett will race Taylor next round without lane choice.

Clark's team worked to after 2AM this morning to get the Mustang back ready to run. He gets a small starting line advantage and is dead even with Stott at 60 feet.

It's all Stott right after that as he stays straight and Clark doesn't.

Diedrich gets a small lead at the green and gets to the sixty foot lights first. It's all Millen from there on.

Tutterow gets off the line and then has the tires go square. He pumps to no avail.

Tindle runs straight and true for the easy win and will have lane choice over Martin in round two.

D'Aprile and Jones are both all over the track trying to get to the finish line. It wasn't pretty, but D'Aprile has a starting line advantage and pumps better to take the win.
