CORDOVA, Ill. - Notes from final, round 4 qualifying in Extreme Pro Stock at the 2013 ADRL Tour presented by Speedtech, Spring Drags IV presented by Curry's Transportation Services listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Pete Berner Runs 5.159/101.14, Now #7; Best prior run: 4.138/174.46, Was #7
Right Lane: Elijah Morton Runs 4.155/174.35, Now #9; Best prior run: 4.142/174.53, Was #9

5:48 p.m. Brian Gahm is on the bump spot at 4.139.

Morton gave it a good shot, but his car was loose and moving around a lot and he came up just short once again. Berner had problems before half track and cruised through.

Left Lane: Richard Penland Runs 8.609/51.42, Now #3; Best prior run: 4.105/175.23, Was #3
Right Lane: Scott Hintz Runs 4.143/174.03, Now #6; Best prior run: 4.126/175.96, Was #6

HintzPenland's car shook immediately and he slowed. Hintz made a good run, did not improve.

Left Lane: John Pluchino Runs 4.114/175.05, Now #4; Best prior run: 4.112/174.84, Was #4
Right Lane: John Montecalvo Runs 4.114/175.27, Now #2; Best prior run: 4.103/176.03, Was #2

"Simply Phones" is sponsoring Pluchino's car and they are the event sponsor at the next event, at Richmond.

These two were six thousandths apart at the start and they were six thousandths apart at the stripe. Neither improved, but it was a great show for the crowd.

John Pluchino's incremental times: 60ft-0.988 sec., 330ft-2.703.
John Montecalvo's incremental times: 60ft-0.999 sec., 330ft-2.710.

Left Lane: Brian Gahm Runs 4.171/174.50, Now #8; Best prior run: 4.139/175.21, Was #8
Right Lane: Mark Martino Runs 5.154/97.51, Now #5; Best prior run: 4.122/174.57, Was #5

Gahm and Martino were fighting the worst conditions of the day and neither improved, Martino abandoning the run at half track.

Right Lane: Trevor Eman Runs 4.114/174.77, Now #1; Best prior run: 4.099/175.98, Was #1

Eman will get his second #1 qualifier in a row, this time he hopes to add the event win tomorrow.

He did not improve, but matched Montecalvo and Pluchino for low ET of the round.

Trevor Eman's incremental times: 60ft-1.002 sec., 330ft-2.708.
