Right Lane: Dan Horan Jr Runs 5.851/239.02, Now #1

1:04 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 58 degrees, relative humidity 60 percent, barometer 29.54 inches, adjusted altitude 561 feet, track temperature 71 degrees.

Powers gets a big lead with a strong start and then kicks the tires right after the 60 foot lights.

Horan Makes a clean and straight pass to set the initial mark for the field.

John Powers' incremental times: 60ft-0.986 sec., 330ft-3.460, 660ft-6.655/068.68 mph, 1,000ft-10.087.
Dan Horan Jr's incremental times: 60ft-1.023 sec., 330ft-2.635, 660ft-3.875/199.40 mph, 1,000ft-4.934.

Left Lane: Alex Miladinovich Runs 6.506/216.83, Now #2
Right Lane: Richard Townsend Runs 7.534/160.81, Now #3

Townsend is running a "new" all black Camaro with just his name and number on the car. Miladinovich has the Hot 4 Teacher Mustang.

Townsend spins the tires right at the green. He pumps the pedal and runs on down the track.

Miladinovich was away first and runs a lean pass. It may not be good enough to stay in this big field.

Alex Miladinovich's incremental times: 60ft-1.088 sec., 330ft-2.856, 660ft-4.259/175.68 mph, 1,000ft-5.470.

Left Lane: Shaun Bowen Runs 6.241/185.05, Now #2
Right Lane: Bob Godfrey Runs 13.220/69.85, Now #5

Bowen gets a strong leave and then it sounded like the engine was running away from the car down track. He pumps and drives on through.

Godfrey's tires are spinning right after a strong 1.007 sixty foot time. Shaun Bowen's incremental times: 60ft-1.055 sec., 330ft-2.692, 660ft-3.956/195.25 mph, 1,000ft-5.108.

Left Lane: Dwayne Patton No Time, Now #9
Right Lane: Todd Patton No Time, Now #8

A great name from the past. Patton is running the Pisano name on the side of the Camaro.

Both cars are told to shut off, as the staging lights aren't functioning. I'm told that the cable rattled out of the tree.

They are pulled back and will get to run again later in the session.

Left Lane: Dennis La Charite Runs 6.059/237.80, Now #2
Right Lane: Rick Rogers Runs 6.213/222.00, Now #3

Crawford is driving the famous Blue Max tribute car and Sanders is in Mr. Explosive.

The right lane is finally conquered and Sanders makes our second five second pass into the new #2 spot on the ladder.

Crawford's car was a little lazy off the line and shuts off early down track.

Ron Capps is taking a "Busman's Holiday" driving the L.A. Hooker funny car. Day is in the Gary Turner's Pedaler FC.

Capps is second off the line, but first to the finish line by a bunch. He destroys the top spot numbers with ease on a great side by side pass with Day.

We get our first five second pair, as Day is right there with a strong pass into the current #3 spot. Nice!

Ron Capps' incremental times: 60ft-0.978 sec., 330ft-2.549, 660ft-3.773/201.64 mph, 1,000ft-4.826.

Wicked, Mean, and Nasty vs. War Force! Larry Sutton is the Back Up Guy for Taylor.

Garten is away first by a bunch and runs into the top half of the field.

Taylor sat there briefly and then left a little lazy. The car seemed to pick up in the middle, but then clicked it early.

Dennis Taylor's incremental times: 60ft-1.087 sec., 330ft-2.766, 660ft-4.141/162.43 mph, 1,000ft-5.663.

Second try for these two.

Both cars have problems and have to lift. Todd Patton gets loose right after the tree and gets the car a little sideways.

Dwayne Patton runs to just before mid-track and clicks it early.

Tim Boychuk's incremental times: 60ft-0.997 sec., 330ft-2.656, 660ft-3.985/187.34 mph, 1,000ft-5.097.

Tom Padilla's incremental times: 60ft-1.055 sec., 330ft-2.735, 660ft-4.044/188.60 mph, 1,000ft-5.163.
