CHANDLER, Ariz. - The 2013 NHRA Lucas Oil Division 7 Opener at the Firebird International Raceway in Phoenix Arizona

This weekend will feature two separate events. Thursday and Friday will be a complete LODRS 7-1 race and Saturday and Sunday will have the first Western Regional Event and the LODRS 7-2 races combined.

Today's activities will feature initial rounds of qualifying and time trials for all Sportsman competitors.

Qualifying for the Top Alcohol Dragster and Funny Car categories for the two day Western Regional event will begin on Saturday, March 2,2013. Two test sessions are planned for these competitors today: 3:00 PM and 5:30 PM
