POMONA, Calif. - Results of final, round 4 eliminations in Top Alcohol Funny Car at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 53rd annual O'Reilly NHRA Winternationals presented by Super Start Batteries:

Lombardo Jr. is 1 - 0 against Rupert in prior events and this is the first time they have faced each other in a final round. Rupert with the starting line advantage, but then started drifting out of the groove toward the wall. Lombardo Jr. was able to chase Rupert down by half track and take the win by 0.0374 seconds (approximately 14 feet). This is Lombardo Jr.'s third National event win.
