POMONA, Calif. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 53rd annual O'Reilly NHRA Winternationals presented by Super Start Batteries:

Langdon is 6 - 4 against Bernstein in prior events. Langdon with the starting line advantage and then he runs low E.T. of the event for the win. Langdon also runs his fastest pass of the weekend. Shawn Langdon's incremental times: 60ft-0.841 sec., 330ft-2.125, 660ft-3.001/293.03 mph. Bernstein with a great pass, but...Brandon Bernstein's incremental times: 60ft-0.838 sec., 330ft-2.137, 660ft-3.030/285.23 mph.

Kalitta and alBalooshi have each won 1 times against the other in prior events. alBalooshi with the slight starting line advantage and never trailed for the win by 0.0268 seconds (approximately 13 feet). alBalooshi had a puff of engine smoke when he let off the throttle, but no liquids on the track. Khalid alBalooshi's incremental times: 60ft-0.841 sec., 330ft-2.139, 660ft-3.030/282.90 mph. Kalitta another big top end speed in the losing effort.

Brown is 12 - 1 against Grubnic in prior events. Brown is out of the gate first never trailed for the win as Grubnic started to shake and clicked it off. Brown's engine let go right in the lights with a huge fireball and that took out both rear tires. The car flew across the track and slammed into the left wall rear-end first and then slid back across the track and tag the right wall before sliding into the sand trap. Brown was out of the car and is getting checked out by the on-site medical staff.

Schumacher is 5 - 4 against Torrence in prior events. After about about a hour and half delay because of Brown's crash we are back to racing. Torrence with a slight starting line advantage, but had the lead by the time they went by the Christmas tree and blast on through for the win. Tony Schumacher's MOV: 0.0239 seconds (approximately 11 feet). Schumacher will get the bye in the semifinal because Brown will not be able to make the call. Tony Schumacher's incremental times: 60ft-0.829 sec., 330ft-2.124, 660ft-3.012/287.11 mph. Torrence with his quickest and fastest pass of the weekend in the losing effort. Steve Torrence's incremental times: 60ft-0.844 sec., 330ft-2.152, 660ft-3.038/286.07 mph.
