LAS VEGAS - Results of round 2 eliminations in Funny Car at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 12th annual Big O Tires NHRA Nationals:

Force gets off the line first and starts to pull away. Lee was right behind, then gets about 800 feet out and the chutes deploy, not sure why.

Beckman is leading the points, Neff is 52 points back in third.

Neff is 8 - 5 against Beckman in prior events.

Neff gets off the line but Beckman had driven around by the sixty foot mark. Neff gets about 400 feet out, loses traction and has to give up on the run. Beckman put out a cylinder on the left side early but was able to pull away and take the win.

Force will have lane choice over Beckman in the next round.

Capps is 27 - 20 against Pedregon in prior events.

Capps came into this round 24 points behind Beckman in the points. Beckman just won so Capps needs this to keep pace.

Capps get out of the gate first, starts to pull away, then goes on through with his quickest pass of the event to take the win.Pedregon went right down the groove but was losing ground all the way through the run.

Gray is 4 - 1 against Hagan in prior events.

Hagan gets off the line first, extends his lead to the 660 foot mark, then strikes the tires. Gray start gaining ground quickly and drives around Hagan to take the win.

Johnny Gray's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.078), 330 ft(-0.090), 660ft(-0.057). MOV: 0.3567 seconds (approximately 91 feet).

Capps will have lane choice over Gray in the next round.
