Bartone has the lead by 200 feet and then runs the quickest pass of the round for the win. Tony

Woznichak started hazing the tires around half track then the car started burning up some
pistons.

Gasparrelli is 10 - 8 against Payne in prior events. Payne with the starting line advantage,
but Gasparrelli had the lead as they went by the Christmas tree, but then Payne had the lead at the
330-foot mark. Payne just increased his lead from there for the win by 0.0249 seconds
(approximately 9 feet). Payne will have lane choice over Whiteley in the semifinal.
