3:39 p.m. Satterfield launched and the engine stumbled. Janis got a clean launch and a clean run.

This has to be called an upset, Farber qualified better and had a holeshot, but Cummins ran him down almost immediately when Farber ran into early tire shake.

If Castellana wins, points-leader Jeff Naiser will be eliminated from championship contention.

Tutterow was off the mark first, but Castellana took the lead after about 200 feet, then pulled away for the win. Mike Castellana's MOV: 0.0457 seconds (approximately 13 feet). Castellana will have lane choice against Cummins in the semifinals.

Musi is also in the championship chase, 20 points behind Castellana. He not only must win, but must go one round further than Castellana to take the title.

Musi was late at the green, but Tindle had early tire shake and Musi led by the time they went 60 feet, then pulled away with low ET of the round. He will have lane choice against Janis in the semifinals.
