9:03 p.m. Warned you about this one...Helms was the quickest loser inn round one, so came back to replace the scheduled bye in this round. Helms had a good light, then spun the tires hard and slowed.

This one is harder to explain. Joe Teuton was scheduled to face Holbrook, but damaged his Challenger when he drove it into the trailer to change the oil. Since the car was too damaged to race, Buckner came back under the "break rule." However, he fared no better than Helms, also losing traction. The two Mustangs will face off in the final round, Holbrook has lane choice against Butner.
