HEBRON, Ohio - Results of round 3 eliminations in Pro Stock at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 39th annual Pontiac Excitement Nationals presented by Summit Racing:

These two have raced each other eight times in past races, Anderson with a 5-3 edge. Anderson nailed AJ to the tree with an almost-prefect light and then outran him for the win. Greg Anderson's MOV: 0.0506 seconds (approximately 15 feet).

This is the first time Adams has gone to the semifinals. He and Geoffrion have raced each other five time in their careers, Geoffrion with a 4-1 edge in those races. He chose the left lane and made it two left-lane winners in the semifinals. Anderson will have lane choice in the finals and he stated his preference for the right lane after qualifying, so it will be interesting to see how that turns out. Scott Geoffrion's MOV: 0.0288 seconds (approximately 8 feet).
