POMONA, Calif. - Results of final, round 4 eliminations in Funny Car at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 46th annual Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals:

Force is 11 - 2 against Arend in prior events and this is the first time they have faced each other in a final round.

This was a great final round. Arend left first, but only by a couple thousandths. Force had the better car, but Arend was never far behind and neither car faltered, the header flames tall and steady. John Force's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.002), 330 ft(0.005), 660ft(0.017). MOV: 0.0221 seconds (approximately 10 feet). Force puts together back-to-back wins to close out the season and cap his 15th championship.
