POMONA, Calif. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 46th annual Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals:

Langdon is 4 - 3 against Kalitta in prior events and have never met in round two.

Kalitta strikes the tires at the green and slows. Langdon picks up 0.002 ET from round one for the easy win.

McClenathan is 14 - 6 against Lucas in prior events. 2-0 in round two.

Team Lucas goes on and Team DSR goes home.

Lucas leaves first and then gets passed by Cory Mc before sixty feet. The Fram car leads to past the 330 lights and then the engine went south and oiled the track. He ran a 4.792 ET at 138.87, but that will get zeroed.

Morgan Lucas' incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.029), 330 ft(-0.049), 660ft(0.144). MOV: 0.7971 seconds (more than 100 feet).

Bernstein is 18 - 17 against Dixon in prior events, but they are 10-9 in round two.

Great side by side pass from start to finish and our new Champ goes on to round three. He gets away first with a strong 0.848 sixty foot time and is never headed down the tract for a seventeen foot win.

Dixon keeps lane choice over Langdon in the next round.

Schumacher is 10 - 9 against Brown in prior events and is 7-4 in the second round.

Brown's end of year performance is best and he gets a small 0.003 lead at the green. They stay within a couple of thousands all the way to the finish line, Giving up the lead twice. Schumacher just can't quite catch him at the top end. What a great race!

Brown will have lane choice over Lucas later today.
