JOLIET, Ill. - Results of round 3 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 13th annual United Association Route 66 NHRA Nationals presented by Miller Welders:

After a five hour rain delay we are back racing. Schumacher is 2 - 1 against Torrence in prior events. Torrence was out of the gate first, but Schumacher had the difference made by the Christmas tree. This was a great drag race...Tony Schumacher's MOV: 0.0298 seconds (approximately 14 feet). Schumacher with his quickest pass of the weekend. Tony Schumacher's incremental times: 60ft-0.832 sec., 330ft-2.145, 660ft-3.056/277.94 mph.

Dixon is 31 - 26 against Kalitta in prior events. Kalitta with the starting line advantage and then had a quick pedal job right off the starting line. Dixon launched hard and the header flames were high over the rear wing. Dixon runs the quickest pass of the weekend for the win and lane choice in the final.
