JOLIET, Ill. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 13th annual United Association Route 66 NHRA Nationals presented by Miller Welders:

This is the first time Harris and Smith have faced each other in eliminations.

Harris went red and Angie Smith heads for the semifinals. She was fighting the wind a bit on the top end and that may account for the slower ET and speed this round.

This is the first time Hope and Tonglet have faced each other in eliminations.

Tong;let was off the line first and was never headed enroute to a meeting with Angie Smith in the semifinals. he will have lane choice,

Gann is 13 - 6 against Johnson in prior events, 1 - 2 in round two.

They left right together, Gann taking the lead and holding it to half track. But Johnson had obviously found some horsepower and he took charge on the top end for the win. Steve Johnson's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.023), 330 ft(-0.019), 660ft(-0.008), 1,000ft(0.014). MOV: 0.0482 seconds (approximately 13 feet).

Hines is 6 - 2 against Arana in prior events, 1 - 2 in round two.

Arana was never headed and once again ran low ET of the round. He will have lane chocie against Johnson in the semifinals.
