JOLIET, Ill. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Funny Car at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 13th annual United Association Route 66 NHRA Nationals presented by Miller Welders:

Hagan is 4 - 0 against Arend in prior events, 1 - 0 in round two.

Hagan got a great light, then pulled away for good when Arend struck the tires about 200 feet out.

Beckman is 4 - 2 against Tasca III in prior events, 1 - 0 in round two.

Tasca started hazing the tires about 200 feet out, then lost traction around the 660-foot marker. Meanwhile, Beckman made his best run of the weekend.

Force Hood is 3 - 0 against Bode in prior events. This is the first time they have met in round two.

Bode kept it close to about 660 feet, then struck the tires and slowed. Force Hood will have lane choice against Hagan in the semifinals .

Hight is 10 - 7 against Wilkerson in prior events, 4 - 3 in round two.

Wilkerson left first, but Hight made that up in the first 60 feet. Wilkerson kept it close, but Hight's car never faltered and he will have lane choice against Beckman in the semifinals. Robert Hight's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(0.021), 330 ft(0.043), 660ft(0.040). MOV: 0.0593 seconds (approximately 26 feet).
