Grubnic in prior events. Kalitta with a slight starting line advantage and then Grubnic had the
lead past the 60-foot mark. Then Grubnic started to chatter the tires and pedaled it and Kalitta
blasted on by to take the win light.

Lucas is 2 - 0 against Chrisman in prior events. These two did their burnouts and after they
backed up and began to stage they were shut off because of sprinkles. The delay was short...Lucas
was out of the gate first and never trailed as Chrisman lost traction right off the starting line.
Lucas will have lane choice over Kalitta in the semifinal.

career fastest pass for Torrence. Torrence will give up lane choice to McClenathan in the
semifinal.
