Thiel with the starting line advantage and runs his quickest pass to advance to the semifinal. Brian Thiel's incremental times: 60ft-0.952 sec., 330ft-2.488, 660ft-3.710/202.52 mph, 1,000ft-4.760. Snyder with his quickest pass of the weekend in a losing effort.

Carlson can't make the call and Van Hauen with the freebie here. Van Hauen will give up lane choice to Thiel in the semifinal. Van Hauen won his first National event round here in 1989.

Webster doesn't make the call. McVey doesn't do a burnout. McVey he stages and just coast all the way down the 1320 and will give up lane choice to Manzo in the semifinal.
