EDMONTON, Alb. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Alcohol Funny Car at the 2008 Knoll-Gas Nitro Jam Drag Racing Series, CARS RV & Marine & Motorsports Rocky Mountain Nationals presented by TORCO Racing Fuels:

8:09 p.m. The top four in points were the first-round winners. Cannister comes in leading the points, Carter is third and set a track speed record in qualifying.

Carter's car shook and danced all over the early part of the lane and Cannister went right down the groove for the win with low ET of the meet.

Atchison comes in second in points, Noakes is fourth.
Good race, Noakes with a tiny advantage at the green and a slightly better ET at the other end.

Paul Noakes' incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.001), 330 ft(0.076), 660ft(0.082), 1,000ft(0.074). MOV: 0.0583 seconds (approximately 21 feet). He will not have lane choice when he faces Cannister in her fifth final round of the year.
