NORWALK, Ohio - Results of round 3 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, Second annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals:

Bernstein is 17 - 4 against McClenathan in prior events, 2-1 in semifinals.

Cory Mac went red and Bernstein got a break. Given an even start, it would have been a very close race.

Fuller is 11 - 3 against Herbert in prior events, but Herbert won the only time they met in the semifinals.

Herbert had a great light, pulled out to a huge lead when he started hazing the tires before the 330-foot marker, then almost had to lift when his car got very sideways past the 1,000-foot marker, but he drove through it without lifting. However, the move probably scrubbed off a little momentum and he lost lane choice to Bernstein by a little over a hundredth of a second.
