Mike Kosky's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.024), 330 ft(0.100), 660ft(0.078), 1,000ft(0.036). MOV: 0.0096 seconds (approximately 4 feet).

Tom Conway has 18 national event wins, but the last was at Denver in 1995 and he has concentrated on the mechanical side for the past several years.

Wow! Those are career-best numbers for Conway and Veale was off the throttle before half track, so the gap at the finish line was huge. Conway ruins low ET of the weekend and will have lane choice against Thacker in the semifinals.

Fishburn was ahead and pulling away when his supercharger burst panel let go with an audible sneeze and he slowed. Lewis went by for an easy win, but he won't have lane choice against Kosky in the semifinals.
